Betty McCluskey, MS, LPC


Betty McCluskey, MS, LPC, is a therapist in private practice in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. She completed her MS in Guidance and Counseling at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. She completed her internship in the Student Counseling Office on campus and became employed by the university as an Assistant Professor in the Developmental Studies/Psychology Departments. She is an energetic professional who is motivated to help individuals with ASD advance their abilities for their personal and professional success. As a practitioner of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, she is skilled at motivating, communicating with, and advocating for individuals with mental health and emotional disorders.

Betty is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Wisconsin with 25 years of counseling experience. She sits on the Board of Directors for the Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin; she is a member of the Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Counseling Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, A Volunteer Parent Liaison for Wisconsin FACETS, a member of the Family-School-Community Alliance (FSCA), and a lifelong member of Girls Scouts USA.

She lives in Tomahawk, Wisconsin with her husband, Jim, a Rutgers Ph.D, and her daughter, Colleen, a Masters Degree seeking student at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, both of whom have been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.
