Michael Niconchuk, MSc


Michael Niconchuk (MSc) is a practitioner and researcher in psychosocial support, peacebuilding, and violence prevention. Trained in international relations and social cognition, Mike has spent 15 years accompanying people affected by conflict in Southwest Asia and Europe, working with community partners to develop, implement, and evaluate trauma recovery, protection, and restorative justice programs for adult refugees and those involved directly in violence. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed and policy papers on trauma, peacebuilding, and violent extremism.
