Barbara Jones
Having studied towards a doctorate in philosophy and with gradate diplomas in psychotherapy and communications, I have decades of research and executive coaching experience. My thirst for knowledge enables me to use a unique combination of neuroscience, leadership theory, Eastern psychology, and developmental philosophy to strengthen executives’ cognitive capacities, mitigate stress, improve emotional regulation, and build mental agility. Together, these areas pave the way for sound decision-making, innovative thinking, and problem resolution – all of which positively impacts the business’s bottom line.
A critical thinker who values the rules of conscience, I create a confidential space that enables leaders to speak their minds. My approach is founded on relationship, and I shape an individualised remedial or developmental coaching roadmap.
Remedial coaching is about problem-solving, equipping my client with the tools needed to secure buy-in, and commit to long-lasting change. If corporates already have HR, psychometric, or employee survey data, I start there. If not, I conduct research and collect 360-degree feedback.
In a developmental context, I provide the support executives need to develop their unique leadership styles. Big on measuring success, I identify and secure agreement on critical success indicators for the individual and bottom line markers for the business. A dedicated learner, I share data throughout the journey with my clients that reveals what truly makes someone an enduring success in business.
My approach ensures that both the outer and inner demands of the executive are met. My insights are applicable and impactful, and while it is not a quick-fix, it speeds the rate of change and, critically, ensures change sticks.
