Description

We have many Tools and Strategies in dealing with Bullying and Peer Pressure, but Ken breaks down these topics to their Cores. Understanding what can Drive a Bully and what age-old instinct is being triggered by our Peers comments and actions, gives our clients a deeper understanding that builds empowerment and gives them more choices to deal with these events as they arise, thus building more resilience. Ken also includes tips to make sure the parents of their adolescent guardians feel part of the solution and more equipped to deal with the modern issues that they themselves, did not directly experience.

Ken’s talk gives different and practical angles that clinicians can bring to their adolescent clients that makes the clients feel more in control and self-aware of their personal experiences with a combination of CBT, Evolutionary Psychology and Ken’s own work from his experience spanning over 20 years as a Counsellor and psychologist. New angles and perspectives and teaching our clients how our brain reacts to these critical moments will help clinicians connect on a deeper level with their clients, break through any stagnant case and raise their clients’ confidence in their day to day lives.
