Helen Foot is an accredited Project Management Professional PMP® and graduate with a Master's in Social Work. She has developed her business skills in a complex and constantly evolving health sector and, over 20 years, she has led numerous significant state-wide or national projects in both Australia and New Zealand. As a certified IFS practitioner, Helen uses the Internal Family Systems model, together with contemporary business models based on research as she works with coaches, executives, managers, consultants, and community leaders to facilitate change and transformation within their organisations and systems. Helen is passionate about sharing work as both example and encouragement for anyone who is thinking about how IFS could enhance their leadership in the workplace.

Presentation: A New Way of Working in the Business of Health  

  • Helen Foot introduces herself, context, and credentials in IFS. She shares her story and explains why she connected with IFS and her client group. She discusses how what she does is therapeutic, valuable, and professional. 
  • Helen shares experiences, challenges, and opportunities when applying IFS in the business of health. She discusses what 'IFS-informed' looks like, aspects of IFS that she uses or doesn’t use relevant to her setting, and how she meets expectations of consulting and coaching.
