In this session, Laurel Parnell shows how to use Attachment-Focused EMDR in order to heal relationship trauma. Laurel Parnell is a certified EMDR therapist who is dedicated to motivating clients and clinicians in gaining understanding, balance and healing. You will walk away inspired to follow through with the concepts in your personal and professional lives.

This video demonstrates the use of Attachment-Focused EMDR to heal a past relationship trauma that was causing the client distress in the present. The client was a man who was triggered by a recent situation that activated a strong emotional response. He reported that several years previously he had been emotionally harmed by the actions of a therapist. He wanted to be free from the threat of being triggered in future situations.

You will learn the EMDR techniques Laurel Parnell uses in order to find the target and help the client to feel grounded and at peace.
