Description

Menopause is a naturally occurring event in a woman’s life in which many treatment options are available. Knowing which treatment options are available, proven integrative approaches, and ways to develop an individualise approach are key to treating menopause and reducing risks. Being at the forefront of understanding the menopausal transition and treatment options is important in caring for women along the lifespan. This presentation will help you to better understand the hormone cascade and how hormones change during menopause and will provide you will various treatment options for your patients utilising pharmaceuticals and supplements.

Deidre Arms, MSN, APRN, CNP, is a dedicated functional medicine nurse practitioner with a passion for holistic health and wellness. As co-founder of Desire Wellness Group, Deidre envisions a healthcare model that goes beyond traditional approaches, focusing on proactive and preventive measures. Deidre sees patients who want to deeply explore causes of imbalanced female hormones, menopausal symptoms, poor sleep, chronic fatigue, obesity, autoimmune disorders and so much more through personalized tools, individualized testing, education and lifestyle modification.
