Description

This practical workshop recording covers three key questions from Solution Focused Brief Therapy:

The Miracle Question, Scaling, and Coping Questions.  The participant will learn how to use the Miracle Question to sharpen the focus of the therapy and the client's desired outcomes. Scaling helps to identify where the client is on a particular goal and where they would like to be. Participants will learn how broadly applicable this technique can be from identifying and clarifying goals to assessing motivation and additional steps necessary to achieve the desired outcome. Coping questions help clients (and therapists) to identify strengths that the client may overlook as well as pathways to positive change; coping questions can also help 'unstick' clients.

“By viewing this workshop, you will add new interventions to your repertoire that will enhance the effectiveness of your clients’ problem solving and solution implementing skills. The techniques are easy to learn and apply, and by attending, you are likely to feel confident not just in applying them, but comfortable with their effectiveness, and with a greater understanding of the methodology .”
