Trey Malicoat, MS, holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with specialized training in acute trauma from the National Association for Victim Assistance. Since 1998, Trey has worked as a therapist, a healthcare administrator, a crisis responder, a speaker, and the creator of the Restoration Model for personal healing. As a crisis responder, Trey worked as an in-field crisis responder at the Thurston and Columbine High School Shootings, the attack on the World Trade Center, and the PULSE Nightclub shooting in Orlando.
Trey has taught courses at the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, the University of Denver, Western Oregon University, and several community colleges. He has taught courses on trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, suicide, bullying, human sexuality, ethics, and violence.
Trey has conducted workshops throughout the US, New Zealand, Canada, and Costa Rica. Trey currently splits his time between Denver, CO, and Saint Petersburg, FL, where he lives with his partner. Angel and their dog, Flash.
