Description

Participants in this workshop will learn how to integrate the key concepts of IFS therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy. It will explore how these two models can complement one another in child and family therapy, using deidentified case examples and therapist self-reflections.

The themes covered in this workshop will include establishing client safety and rapport, and creating a therapeutic relationship and environment where all parts are welcome.

There will be an offering of practical strategies such as incorporating sand play, toys, art and talk- based therapies to help children to get to know, understand and befriend their parts.

There will also be a focus on the therapists’ parts and ways of tracking and tending to parts that become activated both in, and outside of sessions.

This product is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with the IFS Institute and does not qualify for IFS Institute credits or certification.
