Description

Respect is at the heart of clinical practice.

But demonstrating this with clients of diverse backgrounds isn’t always as straightforward as it seems.

No therapist is immune from biases-and these can lead to microaggressions, which can lead to ruptures and dropout.

It’s not just about the code of ethics but the humanity and dignity of all people.

Now with training you can master the art of ethically navigating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) issues in clinical practice so you can ensure your practice is inclusive and in line with the latest DEI standards.

So watch ethics and boundaries expert LATASHA MATTHEWS, MA, LPC, CPCS, CPLC as she guides you through the common ethical challenges that clinicians face when implementing DEI into their practice. This workshop is geared toward both new and experienced clinicians looking to ensure their practice is inclusive. You’ll learn:

  • Simple steps for maintaining healthy boundaries in varied practice settings
  • How to address microaggressions and stereotypes
  • The latest strategies to manage common ethical challenges related to DEI
