Get the skills, clinical interventions & confidence to respond to unsettling dissociative states in your clients.

Dissociation can be one of the most unnerving elements of trauma treatment.

It can be as subtle as a client staring into space...

Or as alarming as them slumping into their chair and becoming unresponsive.

However it presents, dissociation can be a major roadblock to successful therapy. And if you don’t know how to work with it, your clients could fail to respond to treatment.

Australia's leading complex trauma researcher, trainer, and supervisor Pam Stavropoulos, PhD, has dedicated the last three decades to supporting people through their dissociation & trauma.

In this one-day workshop, you'll discover straight-forward ways to resolve hard-to-recognise dissociative symptoms and re-enactments that can happen subtly right there in a session.

The COVID-19 pandemic has wrought an unprecedented traumatic experience on the entire world. Because humans have the same survival instincts as any other mammal, our automatic responses have been to fight, flee from potential risk, collapse into hopelessness, remain frozen in fear inside our homes, or to cry for help.

The challenge we face now is learning how to live again in a world without threat, how to ‘turn off’ the survival responses that have become increasingly automatic, and how to recover from the ordeal with which we have been living.
